Nov. 5 ESU Announces Field Hockey Team Will Participate in NCAA Division II Championships on Saturday, November 7
EAST STROUDSBURG – East Stroudsburg University field hockey team has been selected to the NCAA Division II Field Hockey Championship field and will participate. The tournament field includes six teams, with the top seed in both regions receiving a bye into the semifinals. ESU is the No. 3 seed in the South Region and will travel to face No. 2 Shippensburg on Saturday, November 7 at 1 p.m.
Nov. 4 Warriors Place Four on All-PSAC East Team, Fink Named Freshman of the Year
EAST STROUDSBURG – Junior forward Caitlin Brownley, junior midfielder Joanna Reckley and freshman back Mical Fink were named to the All-PSAC East first team and Fink was recognized as the PSAC East Freshman of the Year to highlight East Stroudsburg University’s four all-conference field hockey selections, it was announced Wednesday.
Oct. 29 ESU Will Not Participate in 2009 PSAC, NCAA Championships
EAST STROUDSBURG – The East Stroudsburg University women’s field hockey team will not participate in this weekend’s Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference championships on Friday and Saturday, (October 30th and 31st) at Shippensburg due to allegations, currently under investigation by the university, involving team member participation in possible hazing activities.
Oct. 27 Warriors Face Shippensburg in PSAC Semifinals on Friday
EAST STROUDSBURG – East Stroudsburg University will make its first appearance in the PSAC field hockey playoffs in seven years when it takes the field for its semifinal game on Friday afternoon at 2:30 p.m. at Shippensburg’s Robb Sports Complex. The Warriors (14-6, 5-3), the No. 2 seed in the PSAC East, will take on tournament host Shippensburg (18-1, 7-0 PSAC West) in the second of Friday’s semifinal games.

EAST STROUDSBURG – Krystal Napolitano scored 3:51 into overtime to give C.W. Post a 1-0 win over Kutztown and put East Stroudsburg University into the PSAC field hockey playoffs for the first time since 2002.
The Warriors (14-6, 5-3) secured their playoff bid eight days after their final PSAC East game of the regular season and 101 miles away from campus.

EAST STROUDSBURG - East Stroudsburg University will officially unveil the newly-installed FieldTurf at Eiler-Martin Stadium and Whitenight Field when the Warriors open the 2008 football, men's soccer and field hockey seasons on Thursday, August 28.
Eiler-Martin Stadium will host a unique doubleheader when the defending PSAC champion men's soccer team plays Lincoln University at 4 p.m., and the football team takes on Virginia Union at 7:30 p.m. The field hockey program will play Philadelphia University in the first game on the turf at Whitenight Field at 4:30 p.m.
