EAST STROUDSBURG -East Stroudsburg University student-athletes Amanda Bradbury, Clarissa Cooblall and Niki Pasquarella have been named to the 2007 NCAA Division II USTFCCCA Women's Cross Country All-Academic Team, it was announced this week.

ESU's women's cross country team was one of 12 PSAC squads recognized by the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association for compiling a team grade-point average of at least 3.0.

To qualify for individual All-Academic honors, the student-athlete must have sophomore academic standing, maintain a 3.25 cumulative GPA, and finish in the top 30 percent at their respective regional cross country championships.

* Amanda Bradbury (Easton/Pen Argyl) is a junior majoring in Recreation and Leisure Services Management and placed 27th at the PSAC Championships and 46th at the NCAA East Regional.

* Clarissa Cooblall (Pennsburg/Upper Perkiomen) is a junior majoring in Health Administration and placed 72nd at the PSAC Championships and 65th in the NCAA Regional.

* Niki Pasquarella (Pipersville/Palisades) is a sophomore majoring in Health and Physical Education and placed 32nd at the PSAC Championships and 40th in the NCAA Regional.
