EAST STROUDSBURG - East Stroudsburg University senior forward Jackie Yandrisevits has been named to the All-PSAC East women's basketball first team for the third straight season, it was announced Tuesday afternoon.
Yandrisevits (Wind Gap/Nazareth) is the first ESU player to earn first team All-PSAC honors three times in a career since the conference began selecting a first and second team prior to the 1989-90 season.
She also joins Stacy Perryman (1992-96) as the only players in school history to be named All-PSAC during all four years of their career. Yandrisevits was a second team selection and the Rookie of the Year as a freshman in 2005-06, while Perryman was on the second team her first two years and the first team as a junior and senior.
Yandrisevits ranked in the top 15 in the PSAC in six categories during her senior year and was third in both scoring (20.1 ppg) and blocked shots (1.3 bpg). She was 10th in rebounding (8.4 rpg), 14th in steals (2.0 spg), and 15th in both field goal and free throw percentage.
She averaged 20.4 points and 9.0 rebounds per game and recorded six of her 10 double-doubles against PSAC East opponents. She scored at least 20 points eight times, including three 29-point games during the second half of conference play.
Yandrisevits finished her career as ESU's all-time leading scorer with 1,784 career points and also set the school record for career three-point percentage at 39.1. Her scoring average of 20.1 points per game as a senior is 17th in Division II this season and the second-highest at ESU in the last 48 years.
