EAST STROUDSBURG - East Stroudsburg University head women's basketball coach Juliene Simpson has resigned, university officials announced Thursday.

Simpson was the Warriors' head coach for seven seasons beginning with the 2001-02 season and coached the team to PSAC playoff appearances in 2005-06 and 2006-07. She compiled a record of 93-124 during her time at ESU.

A comprehensive national search to fill the position is underway.
