EAST STROUDSBURG - Junior guard Jackie Yandrisevits was named to the All-PSAC East first team for the second straight season and senior forward Monika Fogelsanger (second team) is a member of the all-conference team for the first time in her career, the PSAC announced Tuesday.
Yandrisevits (Wind Gap/Nazareth) has been on the All-PSAC East team in each of her first three seasons after earning PSAC East Rookie of the Year honors and second team mention on the all-conference team as a freshman.
She was the East's leading scorer with 16.0 points per game and ranked sixth in the conference in scoring. She also led ESU with 6.4 rebounds per game, shot 50.3 percent from the field, and had 23 blocks and 44 steals on the defensive end. Yandrisevits will enter her senior season ranked sixth with 1,240 career points and is within 500 points of becoming the leading scorer in school history.
Fogelsanger (State College/State College) was a four-year starter for the Warriors and a key member of the 2005-06 and 2006-07 PSAC East regular season championship teams. She had a career-high 10.4 points per game, averaged 5.6 rebounds per contest and was third in the PSAC with an 84.3 free throw percentage.
Fogelsanger finishes her career with the top free throw percentage in school history at 80.0 percent (236-295), and is also in the top 10 with 45 blocks and 559 rebounds.
ESU finished the 2007-08 season with its third straight appearance in the PSAC tournament and will return four starters next year.
