PSAC tournament preview

EAST STROUDSBURG - Jackie Yandrisevits has earned her second PSAC East Player of the Week award of the season, and the fourth of her career, after averaging 23 points and eight rebounds in two wins for the Warriors last week.

Yandrisevits (Wind Gap/Nazareth) scored 21 points in a 64-44 win over Mansfield on Wednesday night to clinch ESU's third straight postseason berth, and had 25 points and nine rebounds to lead ESU to an 83-72 win at Kutztown on Saturday to finish the regular season. She shot 19-of-29 from the field over the two games, and also contributed four assists, two steals and a block.

The leading scorer in the PSAC East with 15.9 points per game, Yandrisevits went over the 1,200-point mark for her career at Kutztown and is one point away from passing Gaye Chapman '95, a 2007 inductee of the ESU Athletic Hall of Fame, for sixth in school history during her junior year.

ESU travels to Millersville for the PSAC tournament quarterfinals on Tuesday night. The Warriors won back-to-back PSAC East regular season championships each of the last two seasons.
