EAST STROUDSBURG - The East Stroudsburg University women's basketball team advanced to the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference semifinals for the first time since the 1994-95 season with a 66-45 victory over Mansfield on Tuesday night at Koehler Fieldhouse.

ESU will play California (Pa.) on Friday night at Millersville. Cal defeated Shippensburg 79-65 on Tuesday night. ESU was designated the host team for the PSAC Final Four this weekend, but a previous arrangement to host the EIWA Regionals at Koehler Fieldhouse moved the site to Millersville's Pucillo Gymnasium. Game times for the semifinals will be at 5:30 and 7:30 p.m., with the championship game on Saturday at 7 p.m.

Alyssa Antolick led the Warriors with 15 points, eight rebounds and three assists, and also blocked three shots. Jackie Yandrisevits and Jhazmin Brown both scored 14 points for ESU.

The Warriors equaled the school record for victories in a single season, while improving to 25-3, which ties the 1994-95 edition which finished at 25-5.

ESU led 45-22 at halftime after trailing 9-7 early in the contest. Antolick scored seven of the Warriors' next 11 points, and a three-pointer by Maryellen Onofre extended the advantage to nine (25-16). ESU continued to pull away with a 12-0 run late in the period, capped by an offensive rebound and putback by Brown.

Mansfield opened the second half with a 13-2 run to cut the lead to 12, but ESU responded with a 15-4 spurt over the next six minutes to push the margin back to 23 with 5:05 remaining.

Jessica Uhrich had 16 points and 14 rebounds for Mansfield, which closes the season at 13-14 overall. Clarissa Correll and Mallory Hafer scored 11 and 10 points, respectively.
