LOCK HAVEN - The East Stroudsburg University wrestling team dropped matches against Lock Haven (34-4), Kent State (35-3) and Clarion (29-15) on Sunday at the Lock Haven Duals.
Sophomore heavyweight Chris Birchler was the only Warrior to post two victories, earning a 14-4 major decision over Dan Craig of Lock Haven and a 17-11 decision against Clarion's Roman Husam.
Senior Dave Williams (184) recorded ESU's only pin, taking down Scott Joseph of Clarion in 3:30.
Matt Swallow (133), Kyle Heselpoth (157) and Shane Mallory (174) each won one match for ESU.
The Warriors will return to action on Friday, Dec. 28 at the Wilkes Open.
