EAST STROUDSBURG - East Stroudsburg University senior Adam Holdredge was named to the All-Academic team, and junior Jon Daley was named to the All-East Second Team, the EIVA announced Monday.

Holdredge (Tunkhannock, Pa./Tunkhannock) owns the highest GPA of the 13 members of the All-Academic team, which requires a GPA of 3.5 or higher to be selected.

The Warriors' setter, Holdredge ranked fifth in the 13-team EIVA with 12.31 assists per game. He was second among his teammates with a .350 attack percentage and was third on the team with 1.21 digs per game.

Daley (Wilson, Pa./Sinking Springs) ranked third in the EIVA in blocks per game (1.34) and was 10th in hitting percentage (.364) as a junior and was one of three middle hitters on the second team. Daley finished just outside the top 10 in the EIVA and led ESU with 3.81 kills per game.

ESU wrapped up its 2007 season last weekend, falling in the EIVA quarterfinals at George Mason. The Warriors were 11-13 overall and 4-8 in their first season in the Tait Division of the EIVA after moving up from the Hay Division last year.
