EAST STROUDSBURG - East Stroudsburg University sophomore Don Hanna has been named the EIVA Hay Division Player of the Week for his performance in the Warriors' five-set win over Mount Olive on Saturday at Koehler Fieldhouse.

Hanna (Center Moriches, N.Y./Eastport-South Manor) had 18 kills and just two errors on 30 attacks for a .533 hitting percentage and also contributed six block assists as ESU came back from a two-set deficit.

He was perfect on six attacks in the third game, which the Warriors won 30-28, and ESU went on to win the final two games 30-20 and 16-14 to improve to 5-7 on the season.

Hanna set a career-high with 18 kills and also tied his career-best with six total blocks. His hitting percentage was the second-highest of his career for a single match.

ESU is in action twice this week, hosting SUNY New Paltz on Friday at 7 p.m. and Mount Olive on Sunday at 2 p.m. for their second meeting in the last eight days.
