EAST STROUDSBURG - Junior Jesse Landis had eight kills in the first game and senior Michael Oswald had seven kills in the third game as East Stroudsburg University defeated SUNYIT 3-0 on Wednesday night at Koehler Fieldhouse.

Sophomore Chris Holden led the Warriors with 13 kills and five aces, and senior setter John Post handed out 35 assists.

ESU had 19 kills and a .406 attack percentage, led by Landis (8-1-11), to win the first game 30-18. The Wildcats closed the margin to 30-23 in the second game, and ESU won game three 30-19 with a match-high .464 hitting percentage.

Derrick Seay led SUNYIT with 16 kills.

ESU will return to EIVA Tait action on Friday at No. 11 George Mason. The two schools met last Sunday at Hempfield High School, where the Patriots won in three games.
