HUNTINGDON - East Stroudsburg University won the first game 33-31 before Juniata battled back to claim a 3-1 win over the Warriors in EIVA Tait action on Tuesday night.

Sophomore Chris Holden had 16 kills and 3.5 blocks, part of a season-high 17.5 blocks for ESU, but Juniata pulled out 30-28, 30-23 and 30-27 victories in the final three games.

The Warriors (1-8, 0-5) also hit .317, their best percentage of the year. Freshman Brian Geslak had eight kills in 10 attacks and 4.5 blocks, and setter John Post also hit .800 (4-0-5) and had 4.0 blocks.

Matt Fritz had 18 kills and was one of four Juniata (6-5, 3-3) players in double figures. Setter Matt Werle contributed eight kills and 57 assists.

The Warriors will be on the road again on Wednesday night at NJIT and travels to No. 2 Penn State on Saturday as they continue their EIVA Tait schedule.
