EAST STROUDSBURG - East Stroudsburg University will host No. 2-ranked Penn State in an EIVA Tait Division match-up on Wednesday night at 7 p.m. at Koehler Fieldhouse.

ESU is coming off its best performance of the season in close 3-0 loss at St. Francis on Monday night, falling 30-25, 31-29, 32-30.

Sophomore opposite Chris Holden has been the Warriors' top player this season, averaging 3.0 kills per game, and junior outside hitter Jesse Landis had 10 kills at St. Francis. Junior libero R.J. The Warriors finished 4-8 in the Tait Division last season, their first at the EIVA's top level since 1999. ESU won the Hay Division with a 10-2 record in 2006.

The Nittany Lions (14-0, 5-0) are led by second team All-American Matt Anderson, who is averaging 5.5 kills per game, and middle hitter Max Holt (3.2 kills, 1.4 blocks per game).
