NEWARK, N.J. - Sophomore Chris Holden had 11 kills and was named to the All-Golden Dome Classic team, but Rutgers-Newark handed ESU a 3-0 loss (30-25, 30-26, 30-19) on Saturday night.

Nate Stott (18 kills) and Jon Keller (11 kills) led the Rutgers-Newark attack, and Jeff Zornig had 47 assists.

Holden's 11 kills came on just 19 attacks, a night after he had 12 kills on 22 attacks in a 3-0 loss to Mt. Olive.

Noel Garcia had 13 kills for Mt. Olive against the Warriors on Friday and was named the Golden Dome Classic MVP.

ESU will return to Koehler Fieldhouse on Wednesday to host Penn State, ranked No. 2 in last week's CSTV/AVCA poll.
