Rob Causton returns to his alma mater for his fi rst season as an assistant coach under head coach Dustin Wood.

Causton played for longtime ESU head coach Bob Sweeney, one of the most respected volleyball coaches in the nation, and was the recipient of the Coaches Award in 1988 and 1989. He was a four-year letterwinner at outside hitter and helped ESU compile a 91-45 record and four straight EIVA quarterfinal appearances during his playing career.

A native of Richboro, Pa. and graduate of Council Rock High School, Causton is a Health and Physical Education teacher in the Oxford Central School District in Oxford, N.J. He and his wife Michele are the parents of two children, Elizabeth and J.R.
