LEWISBURG, Pa. - Junior Leslie Martin of the East Stroudsburg University indoor track and field team broke the school record in the long jump with a 5.49m (18.01ft) leap, Saturday at the Bucknell Heptagonal.

As well as breaking the school record, Martin took third place in the long jump event and also cleared 1.09m (5.25ft) in the high jump to earn third place. Another highlight on the women's side includes senior Theresa Manera finishing fourth in the 55m dash with 7.47 seconds.

On the men's side, a handful of Warriors placed in the top three positions. Drew Nesbitt was the top finisher for ESU placing second in the 1000m run at 2:33.80, two seconds behind Duquesne's Eric Robertson.

Iuri Pinto placed third in the mile run at 4:16.61, Matthew Gallup cleared 4.20m (13.7 ft) in the pole vault which earned a third place finish, and Drew Miller jumped 13.29m (43.6ft) in the triple jump for a third place finish as well.

ESU will be back in action on Friday, January 26th at the Lehigh Multi Invitational.
