KUTZTOWN - The East Stroudsburg University men and women's indoor track and field teams competed in the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference East Championships held at Kutztown University on Saturday, where the men placed second and the women took third place.

First place finished at the meet include: Ken Cardullo in the pentathlon with 3119 points, Leslie Martin in the high jump (5'7) and long jump (17'11 ¼"), and Amanda Sines in the shot put throwing 44' 5 ¼".

Martin, Janelle Smith (5'5"), and Ryan Kramer (6'9") each posted NCAA qualifying marks in the high jump for the weekend.

Both the men and women's teams tallied 114 total points, where Shippensburg beat out the Warrior men and the Warrior women placed behind Kutztown and Shippensburg.

Iuri Pinto also had a big weekend while traveling up to the Valentine's Invite in Boston. Pinto competed in the 5,000m and not only clocked in with a NCAA qualifier, but set a school record with 14:47.90.

ESU will travel to Haverford for the Keough Invite on February 18.
