EAST STROUDSBURG - Junior Chris Reddick is the ABC Trophy, Inc. Athlete of the Week at East Stroudsburg University after being named the Co-Track Athlete of the Meet at the PSAC Indoor Track & Field Championships last weekend at Koehler Fieldhouse.

Reddick (Pottstown/Pottstown) set school records in the 200 and 400 meters, won the 200 and was second in the 400 to earn recognition from the conference's coaches.

He ran record times in both the prelims and finals of the 200, clocking a time of 22.08 on Saturday before shattering the record with a performance of 21.86 seconds in the finals to win his first PSAC championship.

Reddick's time of 49.11 seconds in the finals of the 400 was a full second faster than the 50.15 that he turned in during the prelims. He lowered the previous record of 49.49 seconds that was set by Ed Kiser at least year's PSAC championships. Reddick ran a time of 49.29 on a banked track at the Lafayette-Rider Invitational on February 13.

ABC Trophy, Inc. awards an athlete of the week to an outstanding student-athlete each week at ESU. Each recipient is presented with a red and silver plaque.
