EAST STROUDSBURG - East Stroudsburg University sophomores Trina Carito, Andrew McCloskey and Paul Wagner all earned PSAC Outdoor Track & Field Athlete of the Week honors for their performances last weekend at the Lynchburg Invitational.

Carito (Greenfield Township/Lakeland) won the triple jump, finished second in the 100m hurdles, placed third in the high jump and ran the first leg of the Warriors' third-place 4x400 relay squad to claim the women's field athlete of the week. Carito won the triple jump at the PSAC indoor championships.

McCloskey (Glen Mills/Penncrest), the men's track athlete of the week, won both the 100m and 200m dashes for ESU. He ran the 100 in 10.81 seconds and the 200 in 21.84 seconds, and also ran the anchor leg of the 4x100 relay.

Wagner (Titusville, N.J./Hopewell Valley) placed in three events, winning the hammer and placing fourth in the discus and fifth in the shot put to earn the men's field athlete of the week. He threw the hammer 162-1 and was the PSAC indoor champion in the weight throw earlier this month.

ESU will host the Lafayette Quad Meet at Eiler-Martin Stadium on Saturday beginning at 10 a.m.
