Miller, Wagner Earn Track & Field All-Academic Honors
EAST STROUDSBURG - East Stroudsburg University sophomores Drew Miller and Paul Wagner have earned spots on the 2008 Men's U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) Division II All-Academic Team, it was announced this week.

EAST STROUDSBURG - Sophomores Trina Carito and Janelle Smith represent East Stroudsburg University on the 2008 Women's U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) Division II All-Academic Team, it has been announced.

Krammes Finishes Sixth at 2008 U.S. Olympic Trials
EUGENE, Ore. - East Stroudsburg University graduate Barry Krammes finished sixth in the men's javelin at the 2008 U.S. Olympic Trials on Sunday afternoon at Hayward Field, his third straight finish in the top six at the national level.

Krammes Leads Javelin Entering Finals of U.S. Olympic Trials
EUGENE, Ore. - East Stroudsburg University's Barry Krammes had the top throw in the javelin at the U.S. Olympic Trials on Friday night at Hayward Field to advance to the finals on Sunday. Krammes set a personal record by almost 15 feet with a mark of 259-1 on his only throw of the night.

ESU Graduate Barry Krammes Prepares for U.S. Olympic Trials
EAST STROUDSBURG - Barry Krammes, a two-time All-American in the javelin at East Stroudsburg University and a social studies teacher at East Stroudsburg South High School, will compete in the U.S. Olympic Trials on Friday night in Eugene, Oregon.

EAST STROUDSBURG - Sophomore Trina Carito and junior Kristen Morby have earned spots on the ESPN The Magazine Academic All-District II team in track and field to help East Stroudsburg University lead the PSAC in Academic All-District selections during the 2007-08 academic year.

Pinto, Mayer are All-Americans, ESU Finishes Banner Year at NCAA Track & Field Championships
WALNUT, Calif. - Senior Iuri Pinto earned his first career All-America honor in his final race in the 1500, and freshman Lynn Mayer repeated as an All-American in the high jump as East Stroudsburg University wrapped up a record-setting season at the NCAA Division II Track & Field Championships on Saturday at Mount San Antonio College.

WALNUT, Calif. - Senior Iuri Pinto placed second in his heat to qualify for the finals in the 1500m run, and sophomore Trina Carito competed in the first four events of the women's heptathlon for East Stroudsburg University at the NCAA Division II Outdoor Track & Field Championships at Mount San Antonio College on Thursday night.

EAST STROUDSBURG - Sophomore Matt Gallup, an automatic qualifier in the pole vault, is one of eight student-athletes from East Stroudsburg University selected to compete at the NCAA Division II Outdoor Track & Field Championships, which will be held on Memorial Day weekend in southern California.

EAST STROUDSBURG - Senior Iuri Pinto ran a season-best time in the 1500 at Allegheny on Friday and won the Penn State Open on Saturday, and sophomore Janelle Smith won the high jump at the NYC Challenge to highlight the weekend on the track for East Stroudsburg University.

Gallup Reaches NCAA Automatic Standard, Warriors Crown Three Champions at PSAC Outdoor Meet
INDIANA - Senior Iuri Pinto defended his title in the 1500m and sophomores Matt Gallup (pole vault) and Drew Miller (triple jump) completed their sweep of the 2008 PSAC indoor and outdoor championships for East Stroudsburg University on the final day of the PSAC Outdoor Track & Field Championships on Saturday at IUP.
