Ontell and Covert advanced to the second round where they faced the team of Marty O'Hora and Tyler Lied of Millersville. The Warriors tandem outlasted the Marauders in a tiebreaker to win 9-8 (7-4). Ontell and Covert were then defeated in the quarterfinals by Bobby Zerwick and Andrew Torrealba of Kutztown 8-3.

Ontell was also a winner in the "B" singles bracket, taking out Jack McClurkin of Bloomsburg 8-3 in the first round. Sophomore Ryan Baxter also won his first round match over Bobby Zerwick 8-6.

Other ESU athletes to compete were sophomores Will Norris and Baxter in the "A" doubles bracket. Norris and Covert also competed in the "A" singles tournament.

Freshman Seth Heller, senior Rob Mikolon, freshman Andrew Makos, and freshman Andrew Milner all competed in the "B" singles and doubles flights.
