EAST STROUDSBURG - East Stroudsburg University soccer standouts Wes Gayle and Roy Thompson have been named to the 2005 National Soccer Coaches Association of American Division II All-Northeast Region teams.

Gayle, a senior midfielder, was chosen on the first team while Thompson, also a senior midfielder, was named to the second team.

Gayle (St. Elizabeth, Jamaica/Munro College) led the Warriors with 10 goals and also had two assists for a team-best 22 points. He was All-Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference in all four of his years at ESU. He was a first-team member as a freshman and was on the second team the past two seasons before earning first-team honors as a senior.

Thompson (St. Elizabeth, Jamaica/Munro College) was second on the team in scoring with eight goals. He also had two assists and was also named All-PSAC this season.

The Warriors finished the second 11-8-1.
