EAST STROUDSBURG - East Stroudsburg University has been selected as the host institution for the NCAA Division II Men's Soccer Northeast Regional, which will be held on Friday, Nov. 9 and Sunday, Nov. 11 at Eiler-Martin Stadium.
ESU is the top seed in the region and will be making its 18th NCAA Division II postseason appearance, to go with three appearances in the Division I tournament in 1964, 1965 and 1971.
The Warriors will play No. 4 seed New York Institute of Technology on Friday night at 7 p.m. No. 2 Dowling, the defending national champion, will face No. 3 Bridgeport in the first game at 4 p.m.
This will mark the fifth time ESU will host an NCAA Division II playoff game. The Warriors hosted first round games in 1972, 1974 and 1995, and the quarterfinal game in 2000 when they advanced to the Final Four for the first time in school history with a 4-2 win over New Hampshire College.
The regional final will be played on Sunday at 1 p.m. The winner of the Northeast Region will advance to the quarterfinals, where they will play the New England Region champion next weekend.

To Eiler-Martin Stadium - from Interstate 80, take exit 308 (East Stroudsburg). Make a right onto Prospect Street and go through the first light. Turn right onto Centre Street (one way street) just past the Pocono Medical Center. Go through the first stop sign and Eiler-Martin Stadium will be in front of you.
