East Stroudsburg - East Stroudsburg University's men's soccer team along with the Sports Management Club will hold the fourth annual PUMA sale beginning Friday, Feb. 22 continuing through Sunday, Feb. 24 from 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. each day, in the Keystone Room on the campus of ESU.
There will be over 35,000 items on sale ranging from shoes, hats, pants, to sweatshirts, t-shirts, bags. The most expensive item at the sale will only cost $20.
ESU alumnus Scott Verrier '98 is the Director of Administrative Services for Puma.
Puma is the official sponsor of the ESU men's soccer program which wrapped up the 2007 season with an overall record of 19-3-1 winning its second consecutive PSAC Championship. As part of the sponsorship package, PUMA has added an educational component to their product donation. Coach Jerry Sheska's graduate personal management class will be organizing and directing the sale from initial set up to final clean up.
"We are excited about the upcoming Puma sale because of the success we have had with previous Puma sales and hope to exceed those achievements this year," said Coach Jerry Sheska. "It provides our students with real-life experiences of how to run an event of this magnitude.
