EAST STROUDSBURG - East Stroudsburg University senior punter Ken Parrish and juniors Evan Prall and Jimmy Terwilliger have been named to the first team 2005 Daktronics Division II Football All-Northeast Region Team.

Voting was conducted by coaches in the Northeast Region. The players on the first team will go to the national ballot.

The Warriors, 11-2, will play in the NCAA Division II semifinals Saturday at 1 p.m. at Grand Valley State.

Parrish punted just 36 times this year, not enough to qualify to be among the NCAA leaders. He averaged 43 yards per kick with a long of 62 yards. He pinned 10 of those kicks inside the opponents' 20-yard line.

Prall had a phenomenal junior season and set new school records for receptions (80), yards (1,662) and touchdowns (22). He is averaging 21 yards per catch and an NCAA Division II best 128 yards per game.

Terwilliger, a finalist for the Harlon Hill Trophy as the Division II Player of the Year, has completed 238 of 377 passes for 4,284 yards. He has thrown 48 touchdowns and has an efficiency rating of 194.76. For his career, he has thrown touchdown passes in 36 consecutive games and thrown for more than 300 yards in 22 games, both NCAA Division II records.
