EAST STROUDSBURG - East Stroudsburg University senior wide out Evan Prall (Scranton/West Scranton) has been chosen to play in the prestigious 6th annual East Coast Bowl.

The East Coast Bowl, to be played Saturday, November 25th in Petersburg, Virginia, features 75 of the top Division I-AA, Division II, Division III and NAIA football players. Kickoff is noon.

Prall will wear No. 80 in the game (his No. 84 is taken by Prince Prempeh of Marist) and is the first ESU player to compete in the game.

More than 700 players were nominated for the game from over 70 colleges in 33 states. The game will be played at Historic Cameron Field and is co-sponsored by the City of Petersburg and the National Football Foundation/College Hall of Fame and all revenue generated is used to award a scholarship for a high school senior who plans to play football on the Division I-AA, II or III level.

Prall will leave for the game on Wednesday and spend the rest of the week working out in front of professional scouts and visiting community centers, hospitals and convalescent centers.

Prall had 76 catches for 1,174 yards and 17 touchdowns this season. He broke the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference record for career yards (4,093) and career touchdowns (35). He holds ESU records for career yardage, career touchdowns and career all-purpose yards. He recently earned first-team PSAC Eastern Division accolades as a receiver and kick returner.
