EAST STROUDSBURG - Seven players from NCAA playoff bound East Stroudsburg University were named to the All-Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference eastern division first team in a vote of league coaches. In addition, five players were named to the second team the league announced Thursday.

The Warriors completed the regular season 8-2 and will host Southern Connecticut State in the first round of the NCAA Division II playoffs Saturday at noon at Eiler-Martin Stadium.

Center Dan Crozier, wide out Evan Prall, quarterback Jimmy Terwilliger, fullback Anthony Carfagno, kicked Mark Brubaker, defensive tackle Andrew Marsteller and punter Ken Parrish were all named to the first team. Guard Jeff Kocsis, wide out Tim Strenfel, tailback Derek Lucas, defensive end Zach Toomey and cornerback Tyree Townes were chosen to the second team.

Crozier, a four-year starter, is making his second appearance on the all-PSAC first team. He makes all of the line calls for the Warriors and helped protect Terwilliger, who threw for more than 3,000 yards this season.

Prall, a junior, was chosen to the first team after leading the team in receptions, yards and receiving touchdowns. He made 65 catches for 1,357 yards and hauled in 15 touchdown passes. Prall had more than 200 yards receiving in two games and caught three touchdowns in a win over C.W. Post.

Terwilliger, a junior, made the All-PSAC East team for the third time. He led the conference with 3,332 yards passing on 183 of 299 completions. He has thrown 34 touchdowns and recently became just the sixth player in NCAA history to throw for 10,000 career yards and rush for 1,000.

Carfagno is on the first team for the third straight season. He has rushed for 416 yards and nine touchdowns and caught 39 passes for 494 yards and another nine touchdowns. He was a second-team selection as a freshman.

Brubaker made the first team for the fourth time in his career after connecting of 11 of 16 field goal attempts, including a 42-yarder that tied his career high. He also converted 51 of 54 point after attempts and kicked a 25-yard game-winning field goal against Edinboro in the second week of the season.

Marsteller had a big year for the ESU defense and helped limit opponents to less than four yards per carry. Marsteller is fifth on the team with 49 tackles and had four tackles for losses of eight yards and is a two-time first-team selection.

Parrish is also a repeat first-team performer. He led the conference in punting with a 44.5 yards per kick average and pinned eight kicks inside the opponents' 20. He has punted 29 times for 1,290 yards.

Kocsis, a sophomore, made the second-team as a guard, his first appearance on the all-star team. He is a two-year starter.

Strenfel, a senior, was second on the team with 40 catches for 863 yards and nine touchdowns. He was a first-team selection last year and holds ESU records for career touchdowns by a receiver (29), receptions (172) and yards (3,370).

Lucas, also a senior, made the second-team after rushing for 630 yards on 134 carries. He has scored twice.

Toomey made the second-team as a defensive lineman, despite missing time this year due to illness. He is a senior and on the all-star team for the first time.

Townes is also a senior and first-time selection. Townes, a cornerback, has made 34 tackles and an interception.
