EAST STROUDSBURG - East Stroudsburg University seniors Jimmy Terwilliger and Evan Prall were named to the first team and junior Mike Habel was named to the second team on the d2football.com All-Northeast Region teams.

Terwilliger was chosen as the quarterback while Prall earned the honor as wide receiver and kick returner. Habel was chosen as an offensive lineman.

Terwilliger, Prall and Habel were the only returning starters on offense from the Northeast Regional championship team in 2005 and helped the Warriors to a 7-4 record.

D2football.com's staff, with input from coaches and sports information directors, chose first and second teams in four regions. Those on the teams will be eligible for the d2football.com All-America team.

Prall, who was a first-team Associated Press Little All-America and a second-team All-American pick by Daktronics, caught 76 passes in his senior season for 1,174 yards and 14 touchdowns. He also returned 14 kickoffs for 260 yards and 20 punts for 357 yards and two touchdowns. For his career, he set PSAC records for career yards (4,093) and touchdowns (50) and ESU records for career receptions, touchdowns and all-purpose yards.

Terwilliger, a second-team choice on the AP Little All-America team, concluded a brilliant career at East Stroudsburg by throwing for 2,966 yards and 35 touchdowns in his final season. For his career, he holds NCAA Division II records for yards (14,350) and all-purpose yards (16,064) and tied the NCAA all divisions record with 148 career touchdowns.

Habel, a left tackle, helped protect Terwilliger and open holes for a Warriors offense that averaged 413 yards of total offense per game.
