EAST STROUDSBURG - East Stroudsburg University football standouts Jimmy Terwilliger, Anthony Carfagno and Evan Prall have been named CollegeSportsReport.com All Division II All-Stars.

Terwilliger was the second-team quarterback while Carfagno, a fullback and Prall, a wide out, were on the third team.

South Dakota quarterback Wesley Beschorner, who finished second to Terwilliger in Harlon Hill voting for Division II Player of the Year, was named CollegeSportsReport.com Offensive Performer of the Year and was the first-team quarterback. C.W. Post was the Division II Team of the Year. ESU beat C.W. Post 66-49 in the regular season and 55-28 to win the Northeast Region in the NCAA playoffs.

Terwilliger completed 262 of 424 passes this season for a school and conference record 4,571 yards and 50 touchdowns. This season, he set NCAA records for career 300-yard passing games (22), consecutive games with a touchdown pass (37), yards of career total offense (12,594), career games with 200 yards or more passing (35), season points by a quarterback (324) and career points by quarterback (744). Earlier this season, he became the seventh player in NCAA history to rush for 1,000 yards and pass for 10,000.

He was second in the country with a 186.1 passing efficiency and led the country with 354.3 yards of total offense per game while becoming the first ESU player to win the Harlon Hill. He was a first-team PSAC selection and a second-team Associated Press Little All-American.

Carfagno, a senior, will leave for Texas after Christmas to participate in the Cactus Bowl, a Division II showcase. Carfagno scored 23 times this season, a new ESU record. He rushed 98 times for 613 yards and 14 touchdowns and caught 53 passes for 684 yards and nine touchdowns. For his career, he has an ESU and PSAC record 86 touchdowns, including 40 on the ground, an ESU record.

Prall, a West Scranton graduate, set school records for receptions (88), yards (1,766) and touchdowns (23). He scored a touchdown in every game this season and has a streak of 15 straight games with a scoring reception, dating back to last year. He was second in NCAA Division II with 6.3 receptions per game and an average of 126.1 yards per game. He was a first-team All-Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference Eastern Division selection and was chosen to the first-team All-Northeast Region team. For his career, he has 2,919 yards and 33 touchdowns. He was named a first-team Associated Press Little All-American and was first-tea All-PSAC.

Colorado Mines' Justin Gallas and St. Cloud State's Ryan Koch were first-team wide outs while Brian Potucek of Central Washington and Richie Ross of Nebraska-Kearney were second-team picks.

The Warriors finished the season with a school-record for wins (11-3) and in the NCAA semifinals, where a loss to eventual national champion Grand Valley State ended their season.
