EAST STROUDSBURG - Senior wide receiver Doug Ogden is the ABC Trophy, Inc. Athlete of the Week at East Stroudsburg University for his performance in the Warriors' 48-42 win at C.W. Post last Saturday.

Ogden, an East Stroudsburg South graduate, had eight catches for 194 yards and a touchdown for the most productive day by a PSAC wide receiver this season.

The touchdown came on the final offensive play of the first half, when he caught a deflected ball intended for Ed Kiser at the 25-yard line and found the end zone for a 63-yard scoring play that gave ESU a 38-21 lead.

Ogden went over 1,500 career receiving yards two weeks after catching the 100th pass of his career. His yardage set a career-high and his eight receptions tied another.

He is averaging 20.8 yards per receptions this season, with 31 catches for 645 yards and five touchdowns, for the second-ranked passing offense in the PSAC.

ESU plays at Millersville on Saturday at 1:30 p.m. looking to improve to 8-2 and stay in the hunt for an NCAA Division II playoff bid.
