EAST STROUDSBURG - East Stroudsburg University junior tailback Joe Partridge has been honored with special recognition from the PSAC following his record-breaking performance at Cheyney on Saturday.

Partridge set ESU's school record with 284 rushing yards and scored four touchdowns, and will receive special mention from host Jim Doyle on this week's PSAC football radio show (www.psacsports.org), along with Slippery Rock tailback Ryan Lehmeier.

The 284-yard performance places Partridge just outside the top 10 in PSAC history, and broke the school record by 17 yards. He passed Andre Myers, who held the record with a 267-yard game against Mansfield in 1998.

ESU will travel to West Chester on Saturday for a key conference match-up as the Warriors look to keep their PSAC East championship hopes alive. Kickoff from John A. Farrell Stadium is scheduled for 6 p.m.
