EAST STROUDSBURG - Redshirt junior quarterback Tim Roken (Philadelphia/Archbishop Ryan) and senior linebacker Jayson Frank (Greenbrook, N.J./Watchung Hills) have been named the PSAC East Football Players of the Week for their roles in the Warriors' 24-23 win at Kutztown on Saturday.

Roken was 25-for-43 for a career-high 312 yards and two touchdowns and moved ESU into position for the game-winning 40-yard field goal by Greg Knauss with 18 seconds left with a 19-yard completion to Doug Ogden on the Warriors' final drive. He threw first-half touchdown passes to Brant Quick (14 yards) and Ogden (five yards) and was 14-for-18 for 159 yards in the first 30 minutes.

Frank had 13 tackles, a sack and blocked two kicks in the fourth quarter to give ESU a chance to win the game on its final possession. He blocked an extra point to keep the score 23-21 after Kutztown took its only lead of the game with 5:54 remaining, and deflected a punt after the defense forced a three-and-out to give ESU the ball at the KU 42-yard line with 38 seconds left.

Frank entered the game as the leading tackler in the PSAC with 10.0 per game (80 in eight games) and finished the season with 93 tackles and four sacks.
