EASTON - Junior Niki Pasquarella was eight for the Warriors' top individual finish, and juniors Ryan Doyle and Pat Carr led the men's team to fourth in a field that included six Division I schools as the East Stroudsburg University cross country teams competed at the Leopard Invitational on Saturday at Lafayette College.

Doyle (13th, 26:20.8) and Carr (15th, 26:22.6) ran near the front of the pack and were the top two Division II finishers. Freshmen Doug Jankowski and Greg Laraia and sophomore Chris Zadroga were also among the Warriors' top five.

ESU placed ahead of Division I schools Seton Hall, Connecticut and Lafayette and also topped PSAC member Kutztown, which was eighth out of the 10 schools.

Pasquarella crossed the line in 22:08.7 for her third top-10 finish in ESU's five events this fall. Junior Rachel Ostroski was 31st.

ESU hosts the Pete Nevins Invitational next Saturday beginning at 10 a.m.
