The ESU athletic department joins the rest of the campus community in mourning the loss of Jeff Dailey, 22, of Easton, Pa. in a fire at his off-campus house on Thursday morning.
Dailey transferred to ESU in January 2007 from Cabrini College and participated in workouts with the men's basketball program last spring, and was a close friend to many members of the team.
Visitation hours will be held from 3 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 11 at Reichel Funeral Home, 220 Washington Park, Nazareth, Pa.
The funeral will be held on Monday, Nov. 12 at 10 a.m. at Holy Family Church, 430 West Center Street, Nazareth, Pa.

There are two ways to help survivors of the fire:
* Donations for East Stroudsburg University students can be sent to ESU Advancement Office, 200 Prospect St., East Stroudsburg, PA 18301. Please note on the memo line "ESU Student Tragedy Fund."
* Donations for the Howell family can be dropped off at Advanced Door Technologies (the former Hughes Printing building), Courtland Street, East Stroudsburg, between 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. weekdays.
