KUTZTOWN - Andre Woodlin scored 28 points, Stephen Dennis had 21 and Kutztown outscored East Stroudsburg University 35-20 at the foul line in an 82-74 win in the regular season finale for both teams on Saturday.

Woodlin (12-of-16) and Dennis (11-of-14) combined to go 23-for-30 at the line, and Kutztown was 35-of-51 as a team. The game featured 61 total fouls (ESU 34, KU 27) and seven players fouled out, including four from ESU.

Junior forward Chris Bach led ESU (18-9, 6-6) with 18 points and 15 rebounds and senior forward Josh Wentz had 14 points. The Warriors will travel to Cheyney for their PSAC quarterfinal game on Tuesday, while No. 2 seed Kutztown will host No. 3 Millersville.

The Golden Bears (19-8, 10-2) led 40-34 at halftime and 53-44 when ESU senior forward Channon Easley fouled out with 14 minutes left, but the Warriors came back with a 6-0 run behind a layup and two free throws by Bach and two foul shots by sophomore guard Dawud Lyons.

Kutztown quickly reestablished an eight point lead before the Warriors ran off a 9-1 stretch to pull within one (59-58) on a layup by Wentz with 7:38 to go. ESU still faced a one-point deficit with just under seven minutes left following another bucket by Bach, but the Warriors were never able to establish a second half lead and Woodlin scored 13 of his 28 points down the stretch.

ESU split the PSAC East series with Cheyney and handed the Wolves one of their two conference losses, 88-85 (2OT), on January 16 at Koehler Fieldhouse. The two schools also met on the opening weekend of the season at Bowie State, where Cheyney won 83-73, and ESU fell 82-60 at Cheyney on February 14.
