THE MATCH-UP: ESU's men's and women's basketball teams both look to improve to 3-0 in the PSAC East with a doubleheader (1 and 3 p.m.) on Saturday afternoon against West Chester.

STILL STREAKING:
The ESU men have won 13 straight games and will match the longest winning streak in school history with a victory over the Golden Rams. The 1940-41 team won 14 consecutive games and finished with a 16-2 record under the direction of head coach Stephen Roberts.

SATURDAY'S PROMOTIONS:
ESU will hold its annual "Take A Kid to the Game" Day on Saturday. Youth ages 12 and under will be admitted for free with the purchase of an adult ticket, and the first 100 kids will receive a coupon for a free hot dog and a coloring book. There will also be activities for kids at halftime of both games.

The ESU cheerleaders will host a cheer clinic from 9 a.m. until 12 p.m., with registration beginning at 8:30 a.m. in the lobby of Koehler Fieldhouse. Cost is $15 per participant in advance, or $20 at the door. For more details or registration information, click here.

LAST TIME OUT (MEN):
Sr. F Channon Easley had 20 points and 13 rebounds for his fifth double-double in the last 10 games as the Warriors dominated Bloomsburg in a 72-46 win on Wednesday. So. G Andy Heimbach scored 16 points and Sr. F Josh Wentz added 7 points, 6 rebounds and 3 assists. (Full Recap)

EASLEY CLOSES IN ON 1,000:
Easley is approaching 1,000 career points, entering Saturday's game with 967 points in his four years at ESU . . ESU has shot 50 percent from the field in four of the last five games . . Bloomsburg was 16-for-59 (27.1%) . . Jr. F Aaron Pinckney had six points, six rebounds and six assists off the bench . . Heimbach has scored at least 16 points in five of the seven games in 2008 . . the Warriors have trailed after halftime for just 4:45 during the last seven games, and have faced a second-half deficit only three times during the winning streak.

LAST TIME OUT (WOMEN): Jr. G Jackie Yandrisevits scored 21 of her 25 points in the first half, and ESU held Bloomsburg to nine points in the second half in a 78-39 win vs. the Huskies. So. G Mel Villano contributed 10 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists for the Warriors. (Full Recap)

YANDRISEVITS ENTERS TOP 10: Yandrisevits had the fourth-highest scoring game of her career vs. Bloomsburg and moved into 10th on ESU's career list with 1,064 points . . she scored a career-high 35 points in surpassing the 1,000-point mark against Moravian two weeks ago . . seven Warriors scored at least six points vs. Bloomsburg, including career-highs from Fr. F Casey Stanton (8) and Fr. F Rachel Grimes (6) . . all five starters had at least five rebounds . . ESU held the Huskies to 4-of-32 shooting (13%) and outscored them 38-9 in the second half on Wednesday night.
