EAST STROUDSBURG - A guest editorial by East Stroudsburg University men's basketball player Murvin English is featured in the July 2, 2007 edition of the NCAA News.

English's editorial highlights his decision to attend ESU and play Division II basketball after graduating from Overbrook High School in Philadelphia. A four-year member of the Warriors' men's basketball program, English used a redshirt sophomore year and a graduate assistantship in 2006-07 to earn his Master's degree in Sport Management while completing his athletic eligibility.

English started 50 games over his final two seasons and led ESU in assists both years. He finished his career with 586 points, 262 assists and 81 three-pointers while shooting almost 36 percent from beyond the arc. He averaged 9.6 points and 3.9 assists while starting 27 games as a senior.
