EAST STROUDSBURG - East Stroudsburg University junior outfielder Josh Butler (Denver/Garden Spot) has been named to the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association All-North Atlantic Region second team, it was announced Thursday

Butler led the Warriors with a .399 batting average that included team highs in hits (69), triples (nine), home runs (eight) and RBI (52). Butler took 123 total bases, had a slugging percentage of .711, walked 22 times, stole 20 bases and had a fielding. percentage of .930 in center field. ESU finished the season 26-23.

Collin Brown of Shepherd, Brandon Halstead of West Virginia State and Ryan Loper of Kutztown were the first team outfielders while Matt Cotellese of West Chester and D.J. Schreckengost of Ohio Valley joined Butler on the second team.
