East Stroudsburg, Pa. - After leading the East Stroudsburg University offense all season, sophomore utility infielder Jacob DeBoer was selected on the All-Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference East baseball second team.

DeBoer split time between second base and short stop while being the lone Warrior to start all 45 games of the 2005 season. The Wind Gap native led ESU (16-29) in eight offensive categories. He was tops with a .348 batting average, 24 runs scored, 55 hits, four triples, two home runs, 20 runs batted in, 75 total bases and a .475 slugging percentage. The Pen Argyl High alum had 15 multi hit games and four three-hit contests. The two-year starter was strong in the field with a .938 fielding percentage in 195 chances.

Jacob is the son of Charley and Margie DeBoer of Wind Gap, Pa. and is majoring in exercise science.
