EAST STROUDSBURG - East Stroudsburg University is currently accepting nominations of student-athletes, teams and individuals with meritorious service to the university for its Athletic Hall of Fame class of 2009.

Student-athletes who are nominated must be at least 10 years removed from their athletic career and made significant contributions and/or demonstrated athletic excellence at ESU.

Teams that have achieved significant accomplishments have been inducted into the Hall of Fame during each of the past four years. Nominations will also be accepted for coaches and other individuals who have made outstanding contributions to the athletic department during their time at ESU.

A total of 244 individuals and six teams have been inducted into the Hall of Fame to date over the past 31 years.

Last year's class included All-Americans Bob Seagraves '78, Mike Reichenbach '84, Jack Goldowski '85, Vicki Vaites-Heitczman '96 and Jan Blake Hoffman '97, along with Jan Hutchinson '71, the NCAA's all-time winningest coach, and the 1994 women's soccer team.
