EAST STROUDSBURG – The East Stroudsburg University Athletic Department will hold its first-ever Fall Golfing for Scholarships Outing on Friday, October 23 at the Water Gap Country Club.

All proceeds will go towards scholarships for the Warriors’ student-athletes. Early bird registration is available for $95 per golfer by Friday, Oct. 16, and $100 per golfer until the day of the event.

Registration for the four-person scramble begins at 10 a.m. with a putting contest following registration. The shotgun start begins at 11 a.m. sharp with lunch on the course from 11 until 12:15 p.m. A barbecue dinner and auction will be held following the scramble at 5 p.m. Non-golfers can register for the barbecue dinner and auction for $15 by Oct. 16 or $20 at the door.

The price of the event includes 18 holes of golf, cart fees, green fees, lunch, an all-you-can-eat barbecue dinner, drink tickets, and a tournament souvenir. Pin prizes will be offered for hole in ones, closet to the pin, longest putt, longest drive, straightest drive and other team awards.

Sponsorship opportunities are available for hole and cart sponsors for $100, hole sponsors for $75, and cart sponsors for $25.
