EAST STROUDSBURG - The East Stroudsburg University Student-Athlete Center for Excellence (SACE) hosted a panel discussion and reception for senior student-athletes on Thursday, March 27.
The interactive panel, "My Eligibility is Up...Now What? A Discussion about Sport Transitions," was organized by Dr. Paula Parker, assistant professor of Sport Management, Professor Nancy Jo Greenawalt, Academic Coordinator for Intercollegiate Athletics and Professor Colleen Shotwell, Athletic Training.
Panelists included: ESU professors, Nancy Jo Greenawalt, Scott Dietrich (Athletic Training Education) and Shawn Munford (Movement Activities & Lifetime Fitness) as well as Kayleigh McCauley, a sport management student and graduate assistant working with Professor Greenawalt.
Panelists shared stories of transitioning out of college sport, redefining what it means to be an athlete, finding a life passion, and having no regrets about their athletic career.
