Wendy Wheeler Dietrich is in her fifth year at ESU after joining the athletic training staff in the fall of 2005.

She has been a nationally certified athletic trainer since 2000 after receiving a bachelor's degree in Kinesiology and Exercise Science at the University of Kentucky. While at UK, she worked as a student athletic trainer for a number of teams, including the football team and the national champion cheerleading squad.

She received her Master's degree in Athletic Training from West Virginia University after performing her graduate assistantship at Fairmont State. She has also worked at St. Mary's College in Maryland.

Wendy is one of three members of the athletic training staff and works with the football, swimming and tennis teams.

She currently resides in Shawnee on the Delaware, Pa. with her husband, Dr. Scott Dietrich, who is also a faculty member at ESU, their son Devin, who was born in December 2008, and their beloved dog Corbin.
