Colleen Shotwell began her career at ESU in 2002 and currently serves as the Coordinator of Athletic Training Services.

Her team responsibilities include but are not limited to providing athletic training services for the men's and women's soccer, men's and women's basketball, softball, cross country and track and field programs. She also serves as an Approved Clinical Instructor to students within the Athletic Training Education Program.

Colleen pursued both her undergraduate and graduate degrees from the University of Pittsburgh. She is currently enrolled in the Doctoral of Science (DSc) Athletic Training Program at the Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions and hopes to complete her DSc degree in 2010.

Before working at ESU, Colleen worked at Albright College and at Physical Therapy Associates of Northeastern PA, where she was the head athletic trainer for Pittston Area High School. She currently resides in her hometown of Avoca, a small town in the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton region of Pennsylvania.
