EAST STROUDSBURG - Redshirt freshman tailback Brant Quick has been named the ABC Trophy, Inc. Athlete of the Week for his performance in the Warriors' 58-13 win on Saturday night at Lock Haven.

Quick (Berwick/Berwick) ran 16 times for 102 yards in the first half and scored ESU's first touchdown on a six-yard run early in the first quarter. He finished the game with 22 carries for 115 yards and also caught two passes for 25 yards in his second career start.

ESU evened its record at 1-1 and will host IUP on Saturday night at 6 p.m. in the first night game in Eiler-Martin Stadium history.

Each week ABC Trophy, Inc., of Stroudsburg awards an ESU Athlete of the Week. The selection is announced Tuesday and each student receives a red and silver plaque.
