EAST STROUDSBURG - Joe Partridge is this week's ABC Trophy, Inc. Athlete of the Week after setting the school record with 284 yards rushing in ESU's 42-6 win at Cheyney on Saturday.

Partridge (Bethlehem/Freedom) also scored four rushing touchdowns to tie the school record which is held by three other players. He gained more than 100 yards in both the first and second quarters and had 24 carries for 212 yards and all four touchdowns in the first half.

Partridge is fourth in the PSAC with 104.2 yards rushing per game entering Saturday's PSAC East match-up at West Chester.

Each week ABC Trophy, Inc., of Stroudsburg awards an ESU Athlete of the Week. The selection is announced Tuesday and each student receives a red and silver plaque.
