EAST STROUDSBURG - Sophomore guard Andy Heimbach is this week's ABC Trophy, Inc. Athlete of the Week after averaging 21.5 points per game for the Warriors at the Bowie State Bulldogs Classic last weekend.

Heimbach (Allentown/Central Catholic) opened the season with a career-high 25 points on Friday night in an 89-82 loss to Holy Family, and scored 18 points on Saturday against Cheyney.

Against Holy Family, Heimbach was 7-for-9 from behind the three-point line, just the sixth time in school history that a player has made at least seven three-pointers in a game. He was 4-for-7 from behind the arc vs. Cheyney in the consolation game.

Heimbach scored in double figures in 10 games, all off the bench, as a freshman and entered the year with a career-high of 15 points against Pitt-Johnstown.

ESU will return to action on Tuesday, Nov. 27 in the home opener against Nyack at 7 p.m. at Koehler Fieldhouse.
