EAST STROUDSBURG - Senior defender Janelle Cronmiller is the ABC Trophy, Inc. Athlete of the Week at East Stroudsburg University for her role in helping the Warriors' lacrosse team to a 6-1 start this season.

Cronmiller (Hilltown/Pennridge) is the leader of a defense that is allowing just 7.7 goals per game and has team-highs with 37 ground balls and 22 caused turnovers.

Cronmiller had six ground balls and seven caused turnovers at Kutztown and 13 ground balls in an 8-5 win over Bloomsburg in ESU's home opener last Wednesday. She also scored a goal in a 20-1 win over Slippery Rock two weeks ago in Florida.

The Warriors improved to 4-1 in the PSAC with an 11-7 win at IUP on Tuesday and will travel to Millersville for their next conference game a week from Wednesday.
