EAST STROUDSBURG - Junior forward Chris Bach is the ABC Trophy, Inc. Athlete of the Week after averaging 21.5 points and 9.0 rebounds in a pair of overtime games for the Warriors' men's basketball team last week.

Bach (Levittown/Harry S Truman) scored a career-high 26 points and pulled down 10 rebounds for his second career double-double on Saturday at Millersville. He also had 17 points, eight rebounds, four steals and three blocks in the previous game against Mansfield.

The Warriors' 29-year old captain played 83 of the 90 minutes over the two overtime games, including all 45 minutes at Mansfield.

Bach has become the Warriors' first option in the post after leading scorer and rebounder Channon Easley was injured on Jan. 26 against West Chester. He sent both games into overtime last week with a layup (at Mansfield) and two free throws (at Millersville) in the final minute.

ESU lost both games by two points and has dropped three straight games by a two-point margin going into Wednesday's match-up with Kutztown. The women's team will take the floor at 6 p.m. on National Girls and Women in Sports Day, and the men will tip off with the Golden Bears at approximately 8 p.m.
