EAST STROUDSBURG - Senior Renee Maniscalco has been selected as the ABC Trophy, Inc. Athlete of the Week after scoring a career-high seven goals in East Stroudsburg University's 13-9 win at Shippensburg in PSAC lacrosse last Saturday.

Maniscalco (Collegeville/Spring-Ford) has scored 15 goals and is tied for the team lead with 23 points while helping the Warriors to a 7-3 start this season, matching the most wins for the program since 2000.

Maniscalco has been a member of the All-PSAC team in each of her three years at ESU and earned first team honors as a sophomore and a junior. She has scored 92 career goals and is expected to join teammate Katie Fretz (99 career goals) as 100-goal scorers for the Warriors this season.

ESU travels to Bloomsburg on Thursday before opening a five-game homestand on Saturday at 1 p.m. against Lock Haven.
